Planning Ahead
It is difficult to advise a client that the failure to plan ahead has produced unnecessary costs, delays and unknown difficulties. Several time recently I have had to explain the court process for children and grandchildren to gain legal control over assets of someone they love. It is always in the most difficult circumstances because the health of their loved one is failing and they are now trying to deal with many years worth of issues that built up.
Please, complete your estate planning so you do not unnecessarily burden your family. They will thank you for it.
